Flu Vaccination

Stay protected through winter with the seasonal flu vaccination.

Seasonal influenza vaccine

We offer a free flu vaccination for all NHS target groups. All that is required is for you to fill out a form which our counter staff will help you with if needed.

If you do not meet the NHS criteria for a free flu vaccination, you can still get your flu jab from us as a private service.

Book an appointment online or walk-in and receive a vaccination.

Frequently asked questions

Who should have a flu jab?
The injected flu vaccine is offered free of charge on the NHS to people who are considered at risk. This ensures they are protected against catching the flu and developing severe complications.

You are eligible to receive a free flu jab if you:

  • are 65 years of age or over
  • have certain health conditions
  • are pregnant
  • are in long-stay residential care
  • receive a carer’s allowance, or are the main carer for an older or disabled person who may be at risk if you get sick
  • live with someone who is more likely to get a severe infection due to a weekend immune system, such as someone with HIV, someone who has had a transplant, or is having certain treatments for cancer, lupus or rheumatoid arthritis.

Our pharmacist will be able to help complete the paperwork and find which criteria (if any) you meet.

We are able to provide the same vaccination to you privately for £15.
