How does the service work?

Our pharmacy team are specially trained to provide advice and support throughout your journey towards becoming smoke free.

To help break your nicotine addiction, we may recommend Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT). This is available in many different forms, such as patches and gums to best suit your individual needs.

Starting the program

First consultation
Your first consultation will be a short discussion with our trained pharmacist to agree a quit date, learn about the programme and discuss support aids.

First week
You will visit the pharmacy before your agreed quit date for another short consultatioon and to pick-up your first supply of NRT.

Week 2 onwards
You can return to the pharmacy every week for advice, support and to pick-up NRT products for up-to 12 weeks.
